After Sales Care

Whilst we endeavour to ensure there will be no problems after you move into your new home, we do rely on a variety of suppliers and subcontractors and we do not pretend to be perfect, so they do sometimes occur nonetheless.

For this reason, details of our remedial work policy are included in the handover pack you receive when you complete the purchase of your new home, and a copy is attached here.

Zurich Buildmark Guarantee

Thomas Homes is a Zurich registered developer and builder, and as such we design and build homes not only in accordance with the Building Regulations, but also in accordance with the Zurich standards of construction.

Each home is inspected by Zurich at key stages, and your new home will be covered by a 10 year Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee Warranty Policy.

Your solicitor will have received the Zurich proposal which must be completed and returned to Zurich for the guarantee to take effect. Upon legal completion of your new home your solicitor should pass you a copy of the Zurich Homeowners' Guide which provides information and guidance on your Building Guarantee Warranty Policy and advice on settling into your new home.

Please note that in certain situations we use NHBC rather than Zurich. In such cases you will be given separate details and reference to Zurich does not apply to you.
